i have almost spent an entire full day of non paid work effort in installing
windows 8 just to be able to use a joystick u shuda seen my face when i
forgot that the thing adjusts the ram and the computer restarted like it was
literally 1996 and a new installation of a new fangled software thing, but,
alas, it did not deterr me:

I cant believe i finally achieved a dream of PC gaming i had as a kid with
thrift store stuff, and i am pc gaming like never before, like in the era of
